Distance training for the management of European SMEs

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The organisation of training for employees of SMEs and particularly mini enterprises (up to ten employees), is still causing problems. But new training technology can help to provide solutions to these problems. The partners of this project propose to provide practical training in economic and financial management techniques for managers and directors of SMEs from four EU Member States, by using computer-aided teaching material and a video conferencing system, particularly for self-training purposes.

ACTIVITIES
Training for managers and directors of SMEs will be prepared at transnational meetings. The training will then be put into practice in the field. Four video conferences will be organised to standardise and consolidate knowledge among all the learners. Interim and final assessments carried out by all the project partners should allow for the continual adjustment and improvement of this distance training.

- Distance training in SME economic and financial management techniques.
