Objective
OBJECTIVES
For several years now it has been increasingly difficult to gain access to the labour market. In this context, the most promising prospects of employment for disadvantaged groups of people are with micro enterprises, i.e. for people wishing to become independent. The project would like to carry out research on the areas most suited to this type of job, on the skills needed to become independent and to set up a training module for teaching these skills.
ACTIVITIES
The partners intend first of all to draw up a list of the areas (legal, economic, social, etc.) for independent jobs in each country of the project. They will then try, based on the pooled results, to draw up a list of the skills required to perform this type of job. Finally, they will work together to draw up a training programme aimed at a disadvantaged group of people wanting to acquire the necessary skills to become independent.
PRODUCTS
The final product is presented in the form of a guide containing an assessment method capable of revealing the most favourable sectors for independent jobs, a training programme for increasing the skills needed to work under an independent status and a careers advice method for disadvantaged people wanting to become independent.
