Women, trade union, education and work

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this project is to widen the involvement of women represented by the trade unions and therefore promote equality of opportunity within the unions and at the work place. In order to do this, the project will organise training courses and produce training material for trainers within the unions.

ACTIVITIES
The project will first of all carry out a comparative survey. It will then identify and develop a trainers' network. At the same time, it will set up a course for training trainers and will produce multimedia material. The products will be assessed and distributed at a later stage.

PRODUCTS
- A manual for tutors responsible for training trainers which is adapted to the methods used by the unions.
- Basic trade union material for raising awareness of equality in training courses.
- A training manual "Women at Work" on male-female equality of opportunity at work, in Greece and within the EU, and an accompanying video.
