Objective
OBJECTIVES
Although the health and welfare organisations have developed training activities considerably over the last few years, the latter do not always meet the required quality criteria. The objective of this project is to develop quality training programmes which will be provided by these health and welfare organisations to social groups threatened by social exclusion.
ACTIVITIES
Firstly, the intention of the project is to identify the training needs of trainers of the two organisations taking part in the projects, i.e. PIKP for Greece and AIGS for Belgium. A pilot training programme for trainers will then be developed and set up within these organisations. In the framework of this programme, the emphasis will be placed on open and distance teaching methods. Finally, the programme will be set up and assessed by the partners.
PRODUCTS
- Development of methods and relevant tools for training trainers.
- Development of the training capabilities of the members of staff of the health and welfare organisations.
- Development of a guide and a manual aimed at trainers in Greek and French.
- A final assessment report.
