A sectorial survey and analysis for the development of investment in vocational training for the tertiary sector particularly the tourism professions and accounting services

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The aim of this research is to promote a general and collective approach to investment in training, while assisting the setting up of innovative initiatives. The partners also wish to set up an assessment model based on effective methodology, systems and procedures. They wish to strengthen European co-operation in the field of training development by creating a network of knowledge. Improving the productiveness of investments in vocational training is another aim. Finally, this research will attempt to strengthen the quality and innovative capacity of the existing systems.

ACTIVITIES
Initially, the partners of the study will analyse training policies and practices of Member States by correlating and analysing the information collected. They will develop new approaches and test new tools and new methodologies. The results will be discussed and assessed during various workshops, before being disseminated.

RESULTS
The study will determine quality criteria, develop a socio-economic model designed to assess training investment and to create and disseminate a methodological guide showing the results and recommendations of use to decision-makers and practitioners in the training sector.
