Robots to watch our space

The EU-funded TANDO project aims to develop indoor drones equipped with advanced sensors that will allow them to detect and monitor any potential anomaly, such as fires or water leakages, with the aim of significantly reducing not only property destruction but also fatalities. The drones will dock to the ceiling and perform routine surveillance of a space, using a cloud-based artificial intelligence anomaly detection software that will provide further analysis of potentially dangerous situations or events. The project will help to develop a fast response to any potential incident, at a much lower cost and with greater accuracy than current solutions.
