Project description
Interdisciplinary training for health promotion interventions
The public health and healthcare sectors are subject to interactions with other disciplines, making the emergence of new specialists combining interdisciplinary expertise necessary for their performance. The EU-funded Health CASCADE project is a European training network at the intersection of health promotion, public health, social sciences, digital technologies and high impact applications that will deliver training to a new generation of professionals capable of working across disciplines in the public and private sectors. The project will provide training and transferable skills in science through workshops and tailored courses and support researcher mobility. The coordinated effort of seven beneficiaries and 14 partner organisations from eight European countries will secure a pan-European multidisciplinary perspective in multi-environment and multisectoral contexts.
