Project description
A new platform for smarter public services
Smart public services, widely referred to as eGovernment, have helped make organisations and processes more efficient. Already, EU citizens and businesses can make countless daily digital requests for service – from filing taxes with the click of a button to receiving a birth certificate. But not all digital barriers to public services have been removed. In this context, the EU-funded obdo eGIP project will address the technical challenges, including security, interoperability and scalability of exchange platforms. It has developed a highly secured data exchange platform based on a patented software combination technology. The project will build on the technology and knowledge. Its vision is to launch an innovative Data Exchange Platform.
Objective
eGovernance is changing citizens and businesses communicate with their administration. Over the last few years, ICT has allowed to digitalize and automate common government processes with the objective of lowering costs, improving efficiency, and reducing errors while delivering better services to citizens, businesses and industries. A key point for the eGovernance strategy is the creation of a synergy between organizations in providing secured seamless sharing of data and/or information and offer an increased portfolio of public services to citizens. Yet, implementing such a successful ecosystem has its own set of technical challenges including security, interoperability and scalability of exchange platforms. Over the year, we have developed a highly-secured data exchange platform based on a patented software combination technology that has reached its market. Building on the technology and knowledge, our vision is now to launch an innovative Data Exchange Platform that will address the technical and infrastructure needs of eGovernance applications. However, we currently have a lack of a candidate with the multidisciplinary knowledge related to this development. Lack of interdisciplinary on the French market, shortage of cybersecurity professionals, visibility, resource and location are hindering our recruitment and the project development. Through the SME IA program, we aim at recruiting a Platform Architect with experience in eGovernance and data exchange project. As project initiator, the Innovation Associate will be at the core of the company strategic development and will benefit from training and strong experience to foster his/her carrier development with the opportunity to develop a new dimension to our business and move forward defining future innovation projects and partnerships to make the Associate an integral part of the team. This will provide a highly profitable value for the implementation of the innovation program we are building.
