Objective
The purpose of this project is to train staff of neighbouring municipalities along the river Duero in the field of energy, environment, agriculture, industry and training. It will respond to the need to integrate training into local development issues and cater for the training needs of local authority personnel.
The partners aim to develop training plans on local and regional issues. These will be used for the training of local authorities, technicians and local institutions responsible for human resource development and training, to give them an insight into how to integrate new European training policies into their local development plans. The project will focus on new technology applied to training, training and employment, vocational guidance policies, training as an investment and innovation in training. Four seminars, with specific written training materials on the above fields will be organised. A training database will be established for the regions involved, and training plans will be drawn up for training and human resource development agents in local authority networks.
Impact
The project will have an impact on training strategies and human resource practices with regard to local and regional development projects.
