Objective
This project has been designed as a response to the appearance of new types of employment in services related to culture, the assessment of artistic activities and heritage. The partnership will adopt a dual strategy of catering on the one hand for the needs of regions with a great cultural and historic heritage with, on the other hand, the vocational training needs of women with a university education (in history or culture).
The aim is to prepare such women for a career related to the cultural development of the regions involved, thus promoting equal opportunities in vocational training. The overall training strategy is in line with the objectives of the local and regional organisations involved, which are currently developing new occupational profiles and retraining some of their staff to be 'socio-cultural developers'.
Impact
The project will have an impact on occupational profiles existing in the culture and heritage sectors and on the accreditation systems for training in them.
