Quality-oriented CVT, organisational development and co-operation between industrial companies in learning regions

Objective

The acceleration in technological and industrial change is forcing SMEs in particular to adopt and implement innovative corporate development strategies. The traditional training programmes provided for these target groups are no longer adequate in this regard. New forms of inter-company and regional co-operation need to be created in the area of continuing training. The aim of this project is, therefore, to develop, test and implement a process-related, quality-oriented and co-operative continuing training concept for industrial companies operating in a specific region.

Approaches and methods specific to the needs of SMEs are to be designed in such a way as to support the integration of continuing training into personnel and organisational development processes as well as promote regional co-operation from the time they are implemented. The individual phases will be structured and organised in the form of a participatory development process that will guarantee the involvement of company and external regional economic development experts, as well as the active participation of the social partners. The project will produce an instructional guide for implementing integrated corporate development measures as well as development process documentation regarding continuing training measures within the context of inter-company co-operation.

Impact
The continuing training concept of this project will help promote SMEs in particular, in a regional context, with special emphasis on adjusting to technological and industrial change.
