Objective
The project aims to maximise human potential and available development resources at local level in agricultural and rural areas. The aim is to set up a development support network of specialised professionals throughout the EU whose task will be to give advice to people wanting to create new companies and jobs. These people will be trained as network consultants and their job will be to provide guidance and develop appropriate skills for the above task. The post of network consultant can filled by people working inside local financial institutions, economic development agencies, professional organisations, social partner institutions, etc.
The specific activities of the project are as follows:
- definition of a methodology based on formal education and vocational training systems and design of training programmes for local development network consultants;
- organisation of specific training courses for network consultants;
- creation of a support network through which the network consultants will operate.
Impact
This project will promote the creation of new jobs and make the most of existing resources in the field of the environment, artistic heritage, tourism, handicrafts and commerce.
