Teletraining and teleworking guide for trainers

Objective

As Europe enters the emerging global information society, many changes in social and economic environments are taking place, especially in the field of work organisation, occupational profiles, lifelong learning and vocational training. The fast advance of information and communication technologies is enabling the creation of new multimedia telematic applications and services. The purpose of this project is to prepare future trainers and experts in teletraining and to guide SMEs managers in how to set up teleworking arrangements.

The final products of the project will be a teletraining environment through the Internet and the world-wide web, together with two multimedia and hypertext modules for training trainers. The first will be called 'Teletraining', covering distance learning, new technologies, teletraining, pedagogical aspects, control, monitoring and evaluation of teletraining, etc. The second will be called 'Teleworking', covering the information society, types and profiles of teleworking, labour organisation, telecottages, teleservices etc.

Impact
The products of this project will constitute an innovative open and flexible distance learning system which will provide a practical training solution for new occupations.
