Objective
As Europe enters the emerging global information society, many changes in social and economic environments are taking place, especially in the field of work organisation, occupational profiles, lifelong learning and vocational training. The fast advance of information and communication technologies is enabling the creation of new multimedia telematic applications and services. The first will be called 'Teletraining', covering distance learning, new technologies, teletraining, pedagogical aspects, control, monitoring and evaluation of teletraining, etc. The second will be called 'Teleworking', covering the information society, types and profiles of teleworking, labour organisation, telecottages, teleservices etc.
