Objective
The aim of this project is to increase and stimulate debate on vocational training and qualification issues with regard to young unqualified people who want to enter the labour market via apprenticeship schemes. This will be done by the processing and harmonisation of information useful for all those concerned with training young unqualified people. This will be achieved by creating various information services and products such as documents of general interest for the vocational training community.
Each partner will organise a study of the general apprenticeship framework of their country. They will then analyse the contribution of training to the qualification of young people in key labour market sectors where there are high levels of recruitment. A 'joint observatory system' will be established, conferences/seminars will be organised, and an information bulletin will be produced.
Impact
This project will develop strategies which will improve the quality and scope of vocational validation systems/methods for young apprentices.
