Specialised technology training in the European integration perspective

Objective

This pilot project will develop a set of post-secondary training classes to be implemented jointly in the member states involved in the partnership. They will be designed to facilitate the entry of young people into the workforce, the free circulation of citizens and the European accreditation/recognition of vocational training.

The objective is to design and develop occupational profiles, training plans, curricula and programmes. An effort will be made to diversify training paths for young people of post-secondary level, taking account of the different vocational training systems in each member state involved. Transnational working groups will be set up using 'variable geometry' in the assignment of partners to work on different parts of the project. The whole will be co-ordinated by an evaluation committee.

Impact
The project will result in the identification of new areas of technological specialisation and the development of new occupational profiles.
