Objective
Employers, trade unions and individual workers, via the social partnership, need to learn and share energy and environmental management, cultural and social knowledge with others in different members states. This project will develop a set of training materials on energy and environmental awareness, as well as including linguistic and cultural information for workers.
The programme will provide a unique opportunity for workers involved, contributing to their professional development and the development of their employer organisations. It will enable them to witness energy saving practices, as well as the impact of differing national, cultural and company practices in other member states.
Impact
The programme developed will have the potential to create significant benefits for the workers of the European Union. These include: increased job mobility, increased competitiveness of organisations involved, and a platform to support sustainable development across the European Union.
