Investment in human resources training

Objective

In many enterprises, investing in skills is a central factor in competitiveness and employability. There are collective training funds and training savings funds for the categories of supervisors and employees in the food industry, banking and insurance sectors. The goal of this pilot project is to assist trades unions in spreading the development of supposedly intangible skill investments to other sectors, to other categories or to other enterprises.

This pilot project will involve six stages. The first will be to organise and launch the project. The second will be to draw up an inventory of existing theories and of the existing parameters for making innovative investments in all types of training. It will also attempt to collect all the conclusions and work summaries within the scope of the support measures for social dialogue on continuing training. The third stage will consist of the creation of a glossary of terms used in the field of training investment, both in terms of theory and reality. During the fourth stage, a guide or a vademecum for negotiations will be established. In the fifth stage, the proposed tools will be tested and validated. And finally, the sixth stage will be the evaluation of the pilot project as a whole.

Impact
FORHINV will popularise a certain number of innovative experiences in terms of training investment and will enhance opportunities to develop worker skills.
