Objective
International conference outcomes on issues such as Local Agenda 21 and C02 reduction have a direct impact on education, and further advances in these areas will depend on the behaviour, knowledge and insight of students and employees. The aim of the IZS project is to stimulate and guide processes for change in Dutch Regional Education Centres; in particular, changes in the development of knowledge and skills and also in the development of a culture of self-assurance in taking responsibility for quality and the environment.
More specifically, the project aims to : develop positive attitudes to change amongst individuals, students and institutions; adapt relevant curricula; develop a 'care system' for the chosen theme; and devise a plan to extend and introduce the care system. The project will result in :
