Euro-Caribbean island cooperation in sustainable energies

Objective

- To favour and promote a framework of technologic co-operation and new market possibilities between European and Caribbean islands, starting from the replication capacity of the results obtained in the large-scale implementation of RES solutions and RUE experiences.
- To establish new agreement systems between the involved actors, both public and private, to favour the export of RES & RUE European technologies and applications to the Caribbean Islands.
- To create a Communication and Exchange Permanent Forum between providers, consultants R+D centres and local market actors, relying on the support of the Caribbean islands authorities.
- To identify demonstration projects and feasible activities (RES&RUE) in preferential sectors like tourism, building, electrification of small islands and isolated areas and alternative transports.
