AETN - AMARC - Europe Training Network

Objective

This multiplier project extends and develops a sectoral network for European local and community radios, in response to changes and developments in information and communication technology within the radio industry. It will promote wide dissemination of training materials, methods and standards to strengthen training provision in support of lifelong learning in the sector. The partners also intend to strengthen the network and improve efficiency and effectiveness through the use of telematics as a means of consultation, promotion and distribution.

Implementation of the project will take place through : the production of a twice yearly newsletter; the organisation of an annual training development meeting; the establishment of a web site and an electronic mailing list; and the adaptation of training materials for on-line learning resources and electronic transfer for local use.

Impact
The project will lead to the strengthening of local sectoral training standards through the dissemination of high quality training materials. It will also lead to an increased use of telematics by enterprises, sectoral associations and training organisations.
