Promotion of Eu biomass technology in agro-industry of high-potential third countries

Objective

The main objective of the proposal is the promotion of EU Agro-Industry residues combustion technologies, developed by European SME manufacturers, in China, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Few EU SME boiler manufacturers have developed specific technologies to overcome operational problems due to the high concentration of inert and ash in the feedstock, which causes serious maintenance problems and long downtime periods. There are state of the art systems that matched in the EU, however, the main markets are those outside the EU in countries with very large production of cotton, rice and wheat. The aim of this project is to assist these EU SME companies to penetrate the international market and to maintain their leading position. This will be achieved by preparing organised participation in international business exhibitions and use of co-ordination promotional actions.
