Exploitable results
USINACTS produces training material which will help projects to understand their own role and the role of others in the human centred design process.
USINACTS training material consists of three main parts:
-management oriented material - motivation and information for policy makers,
-process oriented material - motivation and information on human-centred design processes. The material describes and motivates usability design and evaluation processes in different phases of the project; user requirements, software requirements, iterative design, etc.,
-product oriented material - usability guidelines for different technologies, users and environments.
The main target audience of the training is the project managers and designers but the material can also be used to train usability experts. The management part of the material is targeted at the corporate level of organisations. The aim is to keep the material simple enough, so that it can be adopted without any specific background information of usability.
