Objective
Establishment of a European network of centres for the testing of varieties newly registered in Europe to verify accurately and rapidly their level of agro-physiological adaptation in the pedo-climatic situations existing in the large strawberry-producing areas of Europe.
To guarantee the conservation of European cultivars to ensure that those working on improvements have access to a wide range of genes and genetic source material and to ensure conservation of the material selected.
