Objective
This concerted action aims:
1) To describe the need and potential for extensification under the reformed CAP.
2) To define the impact of extensification on the economics/profitability of production systems, on the environment and on the quality of the meat.
3) To identify new methodologies for extensification research and to hasten their exchange and adaptation.
4) To assess the outcome from extensification research, and to make proposals for future research.
