DEVELOPMENT OF COMMON DATA DICTIONARY TO TRANSFER BETWEEN MEMBER STATES THE AGRICULTURAL DATA REQUIRED BY THE COMMISSION TO MEET SINGLE MARKET NEEDS AN APPLICATION TO SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL DATA FOR CROPS AND PERISHABLES

Objective

The main goals of the project are:

- to facilitate exchanges between Information Systems (IS) designed by different organisations involved in Agricultural advisory services in the different countries of EC. These exchanges already exist but the lack of common data definition and the small number of gateways between IS limit any co-operation;
- to improve data analysis practices thanks to a better data description and to an improvement of survey networks;
- to enrich the experimental results thanks to a common data model enabling the gathering networks of trials from different Member States;
- to allow the design of intelligent interfaces that provide end-users (advisory services, national research institutes) with statistical information about production factors in the context of the new CAP.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
