Objective

The objective is to develop improved diagnostic tests for Maedi visna virus (MVV) infection to enable better control of the disease.

Specific objectives are:

- Development of a robust, specific, sensitive serological diagnostic test for MVV.
- Validation of the test under field conditions in countries where MVV infection is a major problem.
