SILVICULTURE, PHYSIOLOGY AND ECONOMICS OF SUBSTAINABLE SHORT ROTATION COPPICED TREE CROPS ON EX-AGRICULTURAL LAND IN EUROPE

Objective



The concerted action is to review current research on short rotation coppice in order to develop a coordinated approach to future research. Particular emphasis will be placed on key silvicultural and physiological research needs, on analysis of existing yield data and on an investigation of economic implication for farmers.
