Objective
TO DEVELOP AND TO APPLY REAL TIME MODELLING OF ACCIDENTAL SITUATIONS, TO DEVELOP ADEQUATE SCENARIOS AND TO DEVELOP DECISIONAL MODELS FOR THE PRACTICES OF COUNTERMEASURES.
The following subjects have been studied: behaviour of neptinium in marine ecosystems; exchange of radionuclides between sea and atmosphere; radioecology of continental waters; radium transfer in freshwater ecosystems; cycling of tritium; radiological impact of radionuclides accidentally released; comparative study of soil to plant transfer of neptunium, plutonium and americium; and radionuclides deposition on vegetation and soils.
