Enhancement of Anaerobic Fermentation by means of Process Control by FTIR/ATR-Sensors

Objective

The scientific and technical objectives of this research project concern the enhancement of anaerobic fermentation (digestion) by means of process control by FTIR:ATR sensor technology. By that means yeild of methane and stability of the process should be increased drastically. Using methane for the production of electric power and also using of the waster heat of the gas engines reduce costs of the overall process and will lead to a more wide-spread use of the technology of anaerobic fermentation all over Europe.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
