Objective
The general objective of the project is to develop and maintain the European Database for Multiple Sclerosis (EDMUS) as a centralized facility for multiple sclerosis (MS) research in Europe.
This EDMUS Centralized Facility (EDCF) serves the following focused objectives:
Task 1: Diffusion and maintenance of the EDMUS system, with a help desk and the users' training.
Task 2: Further developments of the system with enough flexibility to accept new data and addition of extra forms. The aim is to answer the needs expressed by the independent users as well as the ongoing European Concerted Actions on MS. Besides, a better protection of the confidentiality of the nominative data registered into the system will be ensured.
