Objective
The Scientific and Technical objectives of this research proposal concern the development of a one step incubation system and workstation for use with a new phage technology for the rapid and safe isolation of Tuberculosis. Research is required into the development of a handling system for the phage test and to understand the practical and safety aspects of designing a machine within which all TB analysis can occur without the technician being exposed to the sample.
