Objective

With the introduction on the market of large solid sate detectors (43 x 43 cm.) of producing high resolution digital X ray images (3000 x 3000 x 14 bits), tr X ray film is no longer needed. The existing monochrome diagnostic monitors, however, can only let us view image a maximum resolution of 2000 x 2000 x 8 bits and thus a loss of data. As a result, we now need high resolution monochrome monitors (3000 x 3000 pixels) for more accurate diagnosis.
