Objective
The RTD objectives of this proposal concerns the development of a new method for a cos fabrication of porous antibody/antigen polymer matrix laminates with improved specificity more selected infectious diseases (HIV/AIDS, Helicobacter pylori/ Gastritis & peptic ulcer, EE virus/infectious mono nucleose, etc.; choice depend on the experience of the final partnership to achieve the goals, RTD is required on: 1) Selection of the optimal disease specific antibodies/antigens. The aim being to achieve diagnostic reliability of at least 2) Production and purification of the selected antibodies/antigens. 3) Development of the new method, electron beam curing (EB curing), for cost effective of high quality porous antibody/antigen polymer matrix laminates. 4) Work on verification of the diagnostic reliability of the laminates prepared. Upon completion of this pre-competitive research these laminates are to be used for fabrication of reliable non-invasive diagnostic tools based on a previously invented "fool proof" mechanics. Through mass production the concept proposed here should eventually allow the product diagnostic kits at a price level in the order of 1 ECU. Thus, the use of this type of diagnostic will be restricted due to fabrication costs, but will become a question of reliability and national he....
