CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Exploitable results

A range of techniques for the characterization of fine powders including zeta potential X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), particle size and density were optimized to give detailed chemical and physical descriptions of fine powders.
The exploitable technology is the application of sol-gel processing to the preparation of phosphor powders. This wet chemical synthesis technique does not require complex equipment and can be scaled up. It is suitable for preparation of multicomponent ceramic compositions and the versatility of the method makes it suitable for a wide range of phosphors.
