Deliverables
The Biomateria web-site was commissioned in March 1998 from Bioportfolio Ltd, Frampton UK. It was launched in May-June 1998. From the welcome page, a daily news service can be accessed that provides valuable free information on developments in the area. In addition, there is an archival resource relating to the European Biomaterials Network 1997-2000 including information on the 19 EU-funded RTD projects in the Network, PLUS compilations of information on other RTD and market developments, comments and information on regulation of materials and devices, a conference calendar with links to organisers' sites, book reviews, reports from conferences attended by the Network co-ordinator, copies of slide presentations from conferences, a section for queries and questions from people visiting the site or getting in direct contact with the coordinator and requests for materials samples or jobs.
