Objective

This project will try to develop a new technique of generating a prototype series of parts, reducing the cost of the final product and the time it is required to put it into the market The aim of the project will be to define the different possibilities of generation a prototypes series of parts, in the final material, and to establish the range of use of this technologies, related with the accuracy, size of the batches, time savings, etc. In the prototype manufacturing the project will test the using of the stereolithography models like direct investment casting models, and the manufacturing of the tooling using stereolithography technology in order to obtain a metallic mould using investment casting. Once the mould is obtained, it will be used like a mould for the wax parts or for plastic injection.
