Objective
Il s'agit dans ce projet d'utiliser une des propriétés physiques induites par le traitement des surfaces métalliques suivant la technique de "I'implantation ionique": le changement de couleur. Ceci permet d'envisager l'incrustation de motifs polychromes ayant une apparence visuelle complètement différente de tout ce qui peut être réalisé par les moyens connus (couleurs métalliques, absence de sur-épaisseur, etc.). La difficulté de mise en oeuvre (elle nécessite des moyens lourds) met le procédé hors de portée des faussaires ce qui permet de l'appliquer aux monnaies, aux médailles et d'une façon générale, au marquage de tous les produits métalliques pouvant faire l'objet de contrefaçon.
