Development of new biomaterials for the preparation of bioadsorbable prosthesis with activated surfaces

Objective

IN RECENT TINES THE RESEARCH HAS OUTLINED THE POSSIBlITY OF TOTALLY OR PARTIALLY REBUILD SOME ORGANS, THANKS TO THE HELP OF TUTORS OR SUPPORTS OF POLYMERIC MATERIALS.THE BIOADSORBABILITY AND 8IOCOMPATIBILITY Of THESE MATERIALS, ADDED TO THE CHARACTERISTICS WHICH ARE REQUESTED TO THEM, CONSTITUTE A FURTHER QUALIFICATION WHICH NOT A WAYS IS OFFERED BY THOSE MATERIAL S WHICH ARE ALREADY PRESENT ON THE MARKET. THE REQUEST, IN FACT, IS THE MATERIAL WHICH IS USED COULD PERMIT TO PROPERLY SIMULATE THE PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS CF THE ORGANS IAF ARE TO BE REBUILT, THEREFORE, IN PARTICULAR, ELASTICITY AN) TOUGHNESS BIOADSORBABILITY AND BIOCOMTIBILITY TO ANSWER THEM NEEDS, THE RESEARCH HAS GOT THE FOLLEWING OBJECTS: * THE SETTING-UP OF BIOtMATERIALS FIT FOR THE MAKING OF TOTALLY OR PARTLY BIOADSORBABLE MEDICAL PROSTHESIS WHICH CAN BE USED FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF PRE-EXISTING ORGANS OR TISSUES WHICH HAVE BEEN DAMAGED AFTER TRAUMAS OR DISEASES; * THE REALIZATION OF MEDICAL PROSTHESIS PROTOTYPES WITHIN THREE DIFFERENT SECTORS: NERVE GUICES, VASaLM PROSTHESIS, EPATHIC SUPPORTS, TO BE EXPERIMENTED LIVE ON ANIMAL MODELS IN ORDER TO VERIFY THEIR EFFICACY

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
