Objective The project will be to develop the use of polymer technology to transfer a design and achieve wet on wet printing at high output rates representing substantial cost reductions for ceramic decoration. The space saving and reduction in power usage would be substantial. There will be a low downtime as it will facilitate a complete pattern change speedily. It will work with re-usable polymer sleeves, and will facilitate a rapid response. There will be greater contrasts achievable with less printing and a great number of colours could be used with a minimal increase in cost.
