Objective
The project is for the research of non-contact electromagnetic linear drives for the food industry . Automation is now an essential element within food processing and packaging, however conventional drives used for providing automation product particulate contamination through the action of their mechanisms. It is intended to research a viable alternative form of non-contact drive for food handling using direct thrust to overcome this fundamental drawback, as well as enhancing overall speed, reliability and therefore productivity.
