Development of a fast and continuous process for simultaneous granulation and coating of products from the chemical, pharmaceutical and food-industries

Objective



The industry a fast and continuous process for simultaneous granulation and coating. Such a process could be achieved by combining a recently developed toroïdal fluidised bed with dedicated liquid atomisation-systems.Objectives of the exploratory phase are: * To develop prototype equipment for the feasibility-study and for testing at industrial scale. * To realise processing-times below 5 minutes and continuously versus 30 minutes and batch-wise in the state-of-the-art processes.
