Windkraftanlage mit verbessertem wirkungsgrad

Objective

Today's wind turbines are in principle not optimized in terms of efficiency, production costs, maintainability and mains compatibility. It would be both technologically and economicallv desirable to have a combination of a mains compatible converter with a permanently excited generator. To achieve this objective, assemblies have to be developed which are state of the art. - converter as dual transforrner. Allows operation of the generator at variable speeds. Active line regulation irnproves mains quality particularly with isolated systems. Reactive current compensation and harmonic filters are replaced thereby. This requires the development of regulators to adapt the characteristics of the mains converters to different mains conditions. - Safety system for the complete unit, particularly affected by : actuators, rotorblade adjustments, azimuth adjustment. - Development of a high-pole generator with high energy density, of modular construction, for variable power classes. - By using permanent magnets, the efficiency and size are optimized. The dimensioning and manufacture of such machines are a completely new departure with a considerable degree of technical risk .

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
