Objective
Hundreds of smaller, remote hydrocarbon discoveries remain nonviable and uneconomic due to the large costs involved in traditional development methods. These marginal sites are highly sensitive to the both the capital expenditure and maintenance involved and thus remain undeveloped. New ideas for cost reduction, simplification and standardisation are continuously sought after as part of the CRINE initiative within the oil and gas industry. This new system offers a low cost, simple method of allowing remote, low pressure deposits to be easily transported to process facilities. Ultimately this revolutionary, cost effective system will allow the exploitation of many such marginal discoveries which would otherwise remain undeveloped. It offers not only significant cost advantages in development, operation and maintenance, but improved performance and enhanced safety as well.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
