Objective
The main goal of this project is to create a totally new type of check out in supermarkets, based on the "smart box " technology for trolleys in order to solve the environmental problem of plastic bags, the ergonomy of cashiers, the selection and storage of goods and an optimization of the process in stores and in houses . The problem to solve is to be able to create a specific hydraulic and ergonomic system in check-outs, able to facilitate the distribution of goods and suppess useless and time consuming handlings. The research would include the study of specific components and studies of a prototype to be tested in RTD laboratories, then on industrial sites and then in points of sales . The SME proposers - manufacturers of containers and trolleys, and manufacturers of check-out for supermarkets- would be interested to contribute to this project and work with RTDs dedicated to study and specifications of the prototype of check-out, perforrning tests of this prototype, and study of new components for integration .
