Objective



The project deals with new technologies for weight reductions of utility vehicles. The RTD goals of the project are: * new forming technologies * optimised design by load and stress simulations * substitution of conventional materials Important working fields are: * Selection of vehicle components * Load and stress simulations by FEM * Metal forming technologies * Integration of functional features into structural parts * New steel semi products and structural shapes * Aluminium components * Polyner material and composites
