Objective
At this moment the marble industry face the problem of the raw material low quality and the direct. consequences are both the waste of materials and the low selling prices. A vast majority of the marble quarries do not have first quality, and their problems occur since the extraction process 'till the cutting and polish up of the panels. These processes face a main obstacle consisting in the breakage of the stone, due to its low density, and to its multiple pores. Once the panel has passed by the whole cutting process, the last phase is to polish it up. But its low quality force to clean impurities ups by dehydration and fills the pores with a marble paste The technical objective is to develop a robotised machinery able to clean up by absorption and fill the pores simultaneously, in the first step of the process, avoiding the breakage risks. On the other hand, the low quality marble (2° or 3° quality) can be manipulated, transformed and sale as a 1° quality.
