Development of a turbine with a new hydraulic technology to triple the speed rotation of portable fire equipments

Objective

The development project concerns the conception of new techniques in hydraulic turbines in order to produce a very significant increase in the rotation speed of the Turbine to generate a three times more powerful water jet stream . This range of products concerns the fire protection industry and essentially the population of the firemen who need to use easily portable fire hoses, light, manageable, and allowing the best water power to extinguish as quickly as possible different kind of fires . Fans, Turbo-Pumps, Collectors will improve their performance each other when they integrate that technique . In utilising the aerospace turbine technology knowledge we propose to adaptate it to small applications by a miniaturisation of the components . A such amelioration in the capability of the water Turbines may offer opportunities for other industrial sectors to develop similar new products .

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
