The development of low friction hard anodised coatings on aluminium

Objective

The principle industrial objective is to produce a hard anodised coating on aluminium which will have distinct characteristics of improved quality and performance compared to the "traditional" coating. This is to be achieved whilst offering environmental improvements and economic benefits, and is expected to open new markets for the novel surface coating. The technical objectives relate to developments in three key areas:

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
