Objective

The scientific and technical objectives of this research proposal concern the definition of a modular avionics system including ergonomic instrument panels displays for light single engine aircraft, light twins and gliders. Research is required to define an efficient, flexible, open and reliable communication architecture between avionics and instrument panel control and display functions. The research addresses ergonomics of the plane operations. Breadboarding, integration and tests in a light aircraft will be performed.
