New materials for use in analytical instrumentation

Objective

The scientific & technical objectives of this research proposal concern the determination of the optimum characteristics of a new ceramic-metallic, composite material "free-me" for more effective spectroscopic analytical measurement particularly in the field of Mass Spectroscopy. This research & development work should also provide results to indicate the effectiveness of the new materials in situ. Research is required to determine the optimum level of metal required in the substrate. Research is needed to determine the new materials ("free-me") overall performance Vs the current materials.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
